Storyline/Plot
The likelihood of encountering a police officer who would force suspects to play Antakshari is virtually as remote as the possibility of encountering a psycho killer who would force his victim to perform the musical game. Antakshari provides both. However, at first, we are drawn in by the uniqueness and wit of Circle Inspector Das’ (Saiju Kurup) exchanges with suspects, which are all based on Antakshari, a game in which players sing songs beginning with the last letter of the song that came before theirs.
But the enjoyment ends quickly. Soon after, Das receives an anonymous phone warning him that if he does not play the same game, his daughter’s life will be in jeopardy. He declines, and a song-singing man in a mask nearly kills his daughter as a result. Das and a junior officer (Sudhi Koppa) start looking into earlier incidents where the perpetrator strangled victims using identical techniques.
